Jonas Tressle

Jonas Tressle is a 27-year-old entrepreneur who from a very young age knew he wanted to work with software, but also real estate. He started his journey as an entrepreneur in college, where he worked as a group on a fiber optics-powered posture correction device called Posturonic. After college he followed his dream of becoming a real estate agent for three years, where he saw that confirming the validity of a real estate license can be a hassle, so he created a platform that would expedite this nuisance. Glacier Flow, his website, allows potential agents to verify their license’s status within five seconds. Jonas Tressle is exemplary because he saw a true problem within the real estate community and found, not just any solution, but one that functions incredibly well. Tressle’s work is driven by his passion for real estate and personal experience with the issues through his years of experience spent in the field. Tressle demonstrates many qualities of an entrepreneur, because he sees problems and does his best to figure out how to fix the problem, thinking of all possible solutions in search of the best one. His work is innovating because he sped up the process of verifying your real estate license from six to eight weeks down to 5 seconds, an incredibly large time reduction. Jonas Tressle is inspiring because he shows us that being an entrepreneur isn’t difficult if you train yourself to think in that way. We all can learn through him to never assume that something can’t be done, no matter what it is. There are many problems in the world which we have come to assume that that is just the way they are, so we don’t think about them very often. This kind of mentality is the exact opposite of the entrepreneurial mindset. Tressle provides a clear example of innovation in a process many people would just consider to be a given.
