Ryan Hickman – Ryan’s Recycling

At only three years old, Ryan Hickman started his first business. He created his own recycling business after getting a tour of a local recycling center. He started his recycling business with his father who helped him to maximize his impact. After he started collecting cans and bottles from family and friends, he eventually began to collect from his whole community.

Now Ryan’s Recycling has reached over 1 million bottles and cans recycled leading to many awards such as the “Eco Warrior” and the “Youth Trailblazer” awards. Ryan is also focused on philanthropic paintings through his own foundation, the Ryan Hickman Foundation. He has become an inspiration to the younger generation, encouraging them to get involved and proving that you are never too young to start making a difference. He frequently visits schools and conferences to encourage people to act and start making a difference regardless of age.
