Carson Matthews is an excellent example of a young entrepreneur who took a personal problem and developed a solution to help his own pain and the pain of athletes around the world. Carson is the founder and CEO of Ball Boyz. He was born and raised in San Clemente, California and this is where he started his business in July of 2023 at the age of just 23. In just a little over 2 years and at the age of 25, he has developed his business into a multi-million dollar skin care company.
Carson was a professional baseball player in the minor leagues and noticed that baseball players and athletes overall suffer from acne at a much higher rate than the average person. He tried many skincare products in the process of trying to solve his “pain” of acne but with no success. After this, he decided to pave his own way and break from the normal skin care products to create his own to help himself and other athletes to care for their skin while playing their respective sports.
Throughout this process Carson realized that the problem with normal skincare brands is that they are created with a strength to clean the skin of the average person, not for the strength required for athletes’ skin. He then went on to create a a soap and skin care brand for athletes that is able to attain a much deeper clean with the use of products such as activated charcoal, coconut oil, aloe, honey, etc… to remove the excess acne athletes deal with. In doing this Carson has changed the lives of countless athletes, giving them confidence on and off the field.
