School Of Hard Knocks

James Dumoulin is a Gen Z Content Creator and entrepreneur who is know for interviewing the most wealthy, powerful, and successful people around the world. His social media presence is unparalleled with over four billion views and fifteen million followers across all platforms. The interviews are usually no more then five minutes. He finds them on the street and asks them questions such as “What was the most amount of money you have ever made in a single year”, “what is the greatest piece of advice you have ever heard or received”, and “If you could give one piece of advice to the younger generation what would it be” Along with many other questions. He is a Co-founder of The School of Hard Knocks LLC.
The School of Hard Knocks is a media company that produces content on all platforms of social media. They are almost entirely interviews of what I had recently discussed. They manly focus on people who are well know for success or overcoming adversity. The main idea of the company is to spread lessons of people who have been through “the hard knocks.” The content tends to be aimed at young adults or teens who want to follow in the footsteps of these so called legends of our generation. It is meant to help these young people with large dreams achieve them by learning from their Idols.
It is partially a non profit because James receives no money for doing the interviews or posting them, but because of his large following he does receive money from sponsorships and marketing other companies products.
James Dumoulin has helped get high class advice to the youth because he decided to take a risk and interview those who are leagues ahead of him in the social class rankings but with that risk he is slowly but surely catching up to the people that he interviews everyday, which goes to show those who you surround yourself with is who you will become.

This was cool to learn a little bit more about The School of Hard Knocks LLC. I’ve seen this guy’s videos many times before and appreciated how quickly he got to the big questions in such short interviews. I think it’s great that he’s found a way to share valuable messages of a media platform.
