Chase Gallagher and CMG Landscaping
Chase Gallagher is not unlike many of us. At a very young age of 13, he decided he wanted to make some money. What did he go and do? What many of us did when we were younger; He went and mowed lawns. During his time doing yardwork for tips from neighbors, Chase realized that he loved making people’s outdoor spaces beautiful, and a few years later, he decided to turn his small lawncare business into a landscaping juggernaut, doing far more than just mowing lawns.

Chase created his company called CMG landscaping in Chester County Pennsylvania at 18 after he had been mowing lawns and doing basic landscaping for five years. Doing most of his high school education online, and deciding to skip college, he began treating his small side hustle as a serious business. He began providing more services like drainage (which he is certified for) and patio construction, which ended up being massive moneymakers for him. With his superb exterior design skills, top notch crew, and incredibly positive attitude, Chase was able to build his business into a multi-million-dollar endeavor by the age of 22.

Besides the very successful business he runs, Chase also loves content creation, sharing his projects on YouTube and Instagram, where he showcases his jobs, the inner workings of his business, and gives advice to other young entrepreneurs much like himself. Chase is a reminder to us that there is a lot of money to be made in the simple works of life, and if you’re willing to get your hands dirty, you might just strike gold.

I appreciate the choice of an entrepreneur who is doing something quite simple, yet so well. It truly is a job most people can relate to and it shows how important the approach to an idea is. He took a simple thing no one thinks of as an innovative business and upscaled it to make a living while creating value and impact.
