Steven Wang – Aelfric Eden 

Steven Wang is an Asian American fashion enthusiast and entrepreneur from Taiwan. Steven loved fashion at a young age. He started to learn that you can create any design and put it into fashion. The problem Steven saw was that a lot of the clothes were plain and didn’t have a lot of design. Another issue that Steven and his group saw was that there wasn’t much variety of fashion in the past, and if there was, they were expensive. This is where the idea of Aelfric Eden comes in. 

The Aelfric Eden brand was created with the idea in mind of providing affordable clothing based on the ever-changing style of Gen Z. The brand aims to blend Asian streetwear aesthetics with Western flair, creating unique fashion that attracts the youth. Aelfric Eden presents an acceptance of randomness and tolerance for imperfection. 

Aelfric Eden became a brand in Los Angeles, California, in 2014. This created a lot of attention with the unique designs and the limited edition clothing drops.  In 2020, the brand started to get a lot of attention by receiving 100k followers on Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes content of their new clothes they would be dropping. Now they have up to 1.3 million followers and continue to grow while gaining attention from popular celebrities. Aelfric Eden also started to gain a lot of attention back in 2023 when they started to post on TikTok. One of the hoodies that made the brand popular was the famous Star Hoodie.  This brand is for both males and females, and there is a variety of clothing on their website as Aelfric Eden continues to grow the business.
