Neal Khosla
Neal Khosla is a Stanford graduate who has done a lot of business building throughout his life even before he graduated from Stanford. Neal’s most notable work was on Curai Health. Neal co-founded Curai health which is a health care startup that uses AI to make virtual care affordable. Khosla’s work has been recognized by many for his work due to its ability to make healthcare more accessible to under privileged people in the world. They do this by using AI’s machine learning when they give the AI the patients symptoms and the AI takes the symptoms and diagnoses the patient and helps the patient and clinician find a medicine, cure or the next steps or actions for whatever diseases, sickness, or virus they are dealing with in the moment. The AI continuously learns from what is given in hopes that eventually the clinician will not be needed to be in the room, and the AI can diagnose faster and get people healthy quicker. Khosla who was named America’s most awesome man in 2012. Khosla self describes himself as emotionally rational and very open and transparent. This is likely how he has been so successful over time.
Khosla’s is a young entrepreneur that I can learn from. His emotional rationality is definitely a strength, and I could use it to be reminded of when I have an out of the box idea to think about is to think is this a realistic thing of what could happen if we go forward with this plan. Then his openness and transparency is also something I could learn from as every business needs someone who is not afraid to be honest. Then transparency is crucial not just in business but in life people value when you are open and transparent with them about the facts when there is a tough situation.

I think it is amazing to see just how many ways AI is being deployed and used in our modern day and age. It is awesome to see how Neal was able to use AI to make virtual health care affordable, as this issue is one that is very common nowadays. This idea is very innovative and will certainly pave the way for the future of healthcare.
