Reflect Orbital looks to send satellites into orbit which would help reflect sunlight onto solar panels on earth even once the sun has set in that region. This increases the solar panel’s usefulness in storing and collecting energy by almost 50%. If somewhere around 57 satellites are launched into orbit, that would generate an extra 30 minutes of daylight anywhere in the world. This concept is revolutionary and Nowack sees this helping people who especially live in the north where nights can be as long as 22 hours long.
