Danny Cole

Danny Cole is a young and rising artist who created the famous imaginative art world known as ‘Creature World’. Danny works in many different mediums in art, ranging from paint and installations to even fashion. Born in New Jersey, Danny began making and imagining his dreamlike world from a young age. He describes wrapping himself in his blanket like a cocoon, closing his eyes, and entering a private cosmos of his own imagination. He skipped college to pursue his career in art and right after high school, he moved to New York City to make this dream happen. While there, he finally started to put his ideas of the Creature into place. The Creature is supposed to be a simple, rounded humanoid form meant to feel universal, not tied to a specific identity. This art work meant a lot to Danny; not just a mascot, but a symbol, a spiritual avatar for the world. Danny felt obligated and inspired to share his creation to the world because he hoped he could make the world feel what he felt for the Creature. Creature World even made it to the famous music concert Coachella, where the band Portugal. The Man used it’s creative imagery in their set at Coachella while they performed. Creature World extends far beyond canvas, spanning immersive exhibitions, public sculptures (like his High Line installation), fashion collaborations, and Web3 projects. One of his more famous works for Creature World includes a 10,000-piece NFT collection and the generative “Crowd” series, all blending art, storytelling, and interactive experiences. His use of NFT’s for this work truly reshaped the digital use of art in today’s modern world. Danny’s work is shaped by his passion for uniting people and forging connection in a broken world. Danny shows no signs of slowing down, as he is continually looking to create larger immersive worlds, deeper narrative arcs for The Creature, and more ways for people to participate. Danny’s entrepreneurial vision is driven by his original purpose of making people feel seen and keeping their imaginations alive, instilling hope and inspiring people to be themselves.
