Mr. Beast, success from virality
Mr. Beast is a famous YouTuber who, I’m certain, very few people do not know. He is also a perfect example of how to make the most of internet virality. James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, who is known as Mr. Beast was doing YouTube for a while before he became famous; however, he became a well-known creator with his viral video of counting to 100,000. This is not a revolutionary feat, nor is it life-changing, but it was mundane, yet stupid enough to draw people’s attention. And that’s what he specialized in.
After that video, he published videos with increasingly extravagant concepts in order to make the most of people’s attention. Mr. Beast quickly became one of the most famous YouTubers. He, alongside a few of his friends, would go on to do crazy things like buying all the stuff in a store and giving it away for free, or his well-known challenges of “whoever leaves last” or does something else difficult and annoying to succeed and win a large sum of money.
Mr. Beast also is famous for philanthropy, most notably his famous planting of 20 million trees for the year 2020, or other acts that he will usually record and post online as YouTube videos, such as digging wells in Africa. He uses the recordings to generate revenue to continue with his work, either for the sake of fun or charity.
He also has started many non-YouTube companies, such as Feastables and Mr. Beast Burgers, and most recently, a theme park located in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Beast has become a generational icon and hallmark of a YouTuber and a content creator who is capable of coming up with new and fresh ideas and games to draw people’s attention. Many people will become viral at one point in their life; however, it is not easy to make the most of that virality and grow it into something much bigger.

Mr beast has definitely made a large impact to the internet influencers and as an entrepreneur. Hes managed to put himself into multiple different categories of sales products.
I grew up watching Mr. Beast, I loved his videos. And I love how he’s using his platform to do good like when he planted 20 million trees!
I’ve only ever heard of the name, Mr. Beast, but I know he is popular, so I was super curious to see what all the hype was about. Crazy ideas attract attention so his willingness to share adventures on social media seems to have benefited him. The most impactful aspect of his venture, however, is his desire to be philanthropic with the gifts He has been given.
