Haile Thomas – The HAPPY Organization
When Haile Thomas was just eight years old, her father successfully reversed his diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. This accomplishment sparked a passion for wellness and nutrition that would cause Haile’s life to never be the same.

At the young age of 12, Haile Thomas created her organization HAPPY, an acronym standing for Healthy, Active, Positive, Purposeful, Youth. Now, at the still young age of 24, Haile is an international speaker, wellness and compassion activist, content creator, author, and entrepreneur. She became the youngest graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at just 16 years old, and is now on fire for teaching people how to live healthy and long lives.

So, what exactly is The HAPPY Organization? Haile came up with The HAPPY Organization to inspire youth to embrace healthy eating habits. Additionally, HAPPY brings nutrition and healthy living to underserved and at-risk communities. Because Haile created The HAPPY Organization at such a young age, her mother helped with the legal side of the business, assisting Haile in growing her organization that would impact numerous communities in incredible ways so many years later.
Haile is now a vegan nutrition activist spreading the word on how to live a healthy lifestyle.

I love how Haile used the inspiration of her father overcoming such a difficult diagnosis, to formulate an idea that would help so many young people. Her business sounds like such a blessing to society.
I love that she is not only promoting a healthy lifestyle in children so they may develop healthy habits early on, but she is also working to make healthy food available to food deserts. It is difficult to maintain a healthy diet when there are limited options. I hope her organization continues to grow exponentially.
This is such a cool idea! I really like the idea of making healthier food more available and enticing!
I love that she used her personal experience as fuel to start her idea and ran with it. It definitely provides a more interesting insight to other people’s experiences that not everyone may have.
I’ve seen pictures of disadvantaged neighborhoods and heard about how they often could only afford fast food which left them with no energy to do anything other than basic survival. So glad someone is doing something to combat this.
