Novoloop

Miranda Wang and Jeanny Yao are friends who met in high school on a field trip to a waste transfer station and became inspired to help solve the problem of plastic waste. Their goal was to create high-performance materials out of recycled plastic. An example of their product is the outsole of a shoe called “Cloudprime,” which is made by a Swiss shoe brand called “On.” Wang and Yao are very smart women who studied biochemistry and environmental science, but still show how passion and focus can lead to the start of something incredible like Novoloop.
