Langston Whitlock

Langston Whitlock, currently 18 years old, is a young entrepreneur who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been coding since a very young age, causing him to create some very unique and purposeful things that benefit the world. He was only twelve years old when he developed a messaging app in an attempt to contact his father. However, this incredible feat is not nearly his last.

At just 16, Whitlock became the youngest person to be recognized by Forbes Enterprise Technology. He began working there overseeing the development team, as well as helping implement sourcing data and new technologies.

In 2018, Whitlock launched his newest app, called SAFETRIP. This is a healthcare-based ridesharing app (think of it as Uber for ambulances). This helps non-emergency patients reach hospitals quickly and affordably.

Because of his innovative work and how he has given back to the community, Langston Whitlock definitely deserves to be recognized as one of America’s young entrepreneurs.

I love the idea of an affordable ride to a hospital when a patient is unable to drive, but is still stable. Ambulances can be so expensive, so solving that problem was genius. He is still making profit, but he is not overcharging for his services.
