Deni Darenberg – dogAdvisor
Deni Darenberg is the founder and CEO of dogAdvisor, a website with advice for owners on how to care for their dogs. Founded by Darenberg when he was 16, dogAdvisor now has over 100 well written, easy to read articles to help dog owners. The company now also offers Max, an AI chatbot to help with emergency care.
The idea came when Darenberg’s friend was struggling to find simple and trustworthy information on how to take care of their dog. Before dogAdvisor, crucial pet care information was scattered throughout long articles, which is difficult to find during a pet emergency. Darenberg changed this with his website, which provided professional care articles that could be easily skimmed. In addition to that, the website was designed to promote calmness through the choice of colors, a consistent design throughout, and making it easy to navigate. The website’s chatbot, Max, can answer prompts from general questions to emergency situations. The chatbot is exclusively trained on expert-reviewed content to prevent bad advice.
Darenberg’s company has caught the attention of several news agencies, such as NewsNation, MSN, and even Forbes. The website was a finalist for most innovative pet product at the UK business awards. All this came from a personally experienced problem someone was passionate about solving. As Darenburg said, “Find a niche on a topic you love, work on it tirelessly until you build something that’s really worth people’s time, and enjoy your journey.”
