Joshua Dziabiak

Joshua Dziabiak is an American entrepreneur and business executive. He was born in Freedom, Pennsylvania in 1987 and lived on a farm where his parents ran their own septic-cleaning business. When he was 12, his parents bought a computer, and he begged his parents to get Internet access after one of his friends asked him if he had a website. After the ninth grade, he turned to home schooling to teach himself how to use CD ROMs. This was the height of his first business venture. Joshua started his first company, MediaCatch, at the age of 14. He is also Co-Founder of The Zebra. He sold his company, MediaCatch, three years after finding it, making him a millionaire before the age of 18. He also moved to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania before turning 18.

Joshua was The Zebra’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer from 2012 to 2020. He then started the website Gawq, although he still remains on The Zebra’s Board of Directors. He is considered a “mentor” with AlphaLab, which is a seed-accelerator program startup for companies. In 2006 he launched a company that helped artists and event organizers with online ticket sales, on-site operations, as well as box-office management called ShowClix.

Joshua received many awards. He was names to Inc. magazine’s Under 30 list in 2010 followed by the recipient of the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America Award the next year. In 2011, he was recorded as one of 30 Internet Millionaires under the age of 30. He was also featured as part of CNN’s Small Business Success video series. Finally, he made Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2017.

It’s amazing that he was a millionaire before he turned 18! It really shows how you can do anything you set your mind to.
