Andrew Flair – Entrepreneurship Through Video
Andrew Flair began his career when he was 16. He started making YouTube videos focused around Fishing. This was in 2014 when YouTube became a hotspot for sharing creativity and ideas. He quickly found that people enjoyed watching him and found his personallity entertaining. This is when he began to have the realization that maybe he could be a pioneer on YouTube.
At the time it was unheard of to have a career as a YouTuber. But Flair soon changed this. He quickly advanced on the site, being one of the first to introduce collaborations with other YouTubers. In 2015 Flair attended “I-cast”, a fishing convention in Florida, he met Jon B another fishing YouTuber who was the biggest at the time. Now this is where Flairs Entreprenurial side kicked in. Him and Jon started the very successful company “Googan Baits” or “Googan Squad” which is a bait company and also a YouTube channel that features four of the biggest Fishing YouTubers. It had a strong run untill it started to fall apart in 2020 due to all the members getting married and having kids. It helped Flairs growth momentously, and he now sits at the number one fishing and hunting channel on YouTube. Inspiring millions of others. Flair was also very Entreprenurial with the creation of his two outdoor hunting companies “Dux” a duck-hunting-focused clothing brand and “Bux” a deer-hunting-focused clothing brand. Which have both become major industry rivals with other outdoor clothing brands. Flair is an amazing Entrepreneur and led to the upscaling of content on YouTube through his ideas, Innovation, and networking.

It is interesting to see that Flair was able to use the advantage of teaming with an already established fishing YouTuber to start his first business. It is cool to see how he didn’t stop at just the one company after becoming successful, but used his passions to generate more businesses and revenue.
This is an inspiring especially because of how young he was when he first started making videos. He realized he could use his momentum on youtube to find other way to monetize and start other businesses.
