Martha Stewart
During the summer of COVID, I stayed home with my three siblings, and once a week I would pull out the Martha Stewart baking cookbook and make a dessert from that book.
Martha Stewart is a well-known name; she is famous for her home cooking and baking TV shows and other media. Martha Stewart’s television career began early: at 15 she began modeling for magazines and commercials, including a commercial about selling cigarettes. She also grew up learning how to cook and can from her parents and grandparents, and she went to college and double majored in architectural history and history. In college she continued part time modeling and eventually, after college, picked up a second career as a stockbroker. Later, she and her husband moved to an antique home in Connecticut, which was later remodeled and used for her television show.
She didn’t start off with a television show; however, she began with a catering business, which became very successful, and later she opened a food store. During one of her catering events, an author who was impressed by her hostess abilities contacted her and asked her to write a book containing her recipes. From the success of her first book, she began to write and be included in more literary media; she wrote in magazines and blogs and columns and newspapers about her hosting and recipes. During this time, she ended up on several televisions, chose to be interviewed. Around this time, she began her own television show based off of the recipes from her magazine; the show was about all the different cooking recipes she had accumulated over the years.
Later she managed to accumulate the funds to combine all the rights to her media appearances into a big brand of Martha Stewart Omnimedia, which she was the majority shareholder. She then got arrested for stock trading conspiracy, and her company lost all value, and she was arrested for five months.
Martha Stewart was an incredibly talented woman with amazing potential; however, her greed and deceit eventually caught up with her.

The story of Martha Stewart is very interesting, as it shows how great success can be until it leads to greed. It is interesting to learn about how she managed to initially grow her business through catering and opening a food store, eventually leading to her rise in fame. However, her love of money ultimately led to her arrest. This is a good lesson for all entrepreneurs.
