The “Beaded Blondes”

The Beaded Blondes is a company owned by Lauren Schwing, her mother Lisa, and sister Lexi. They sell jewelry that is beaded with different shiny colors. The unique story behind these entrepreneurs is that they started with hand-written string-beaded rings in their parents’ dining room and initially sold them on Etsy. But then it grew into a nationally owned business, and the brand expanded to bracelets and necklaces, etc. What drives these sisters is the determination to make good-quality jewelry, but at an affordable price. Their idea is interesting because they made their handmade pieces unique, and the quality is great, but the price is even greater. The entrepreneurial traits they express are being driven and attacking the idea, and then actually launching their business. That made them blow up on many different platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. They inspire me to start my own jewelry business with girly and cute aesthetics like theirs, and to not be discouraged to start young when starting up a business. The principles I have learned are that at any time, a small business can blow up, even if it does not start big in the beginning, you need to persevere through it, and ask yourself How can I innovate this to make it more pleasing to my target market.
