Deni Darenberg – dogAdvisor
At 16 years old, Deni Darenberg had a friend with a pet German shepherd who struggled to easily find information online about how to care for his dog. Deni recognized how difficult it is for pet owners to quickly find correct information about their animals without searching for hours. He started a blog entitled dogAdvisor with short and concise informational posts to help pet owners. These posts included information ranging from puppy training all the way up to elderly dogs and emergency care. Once his blog began to gain traction, he started transforming it into a real platform. dogAdvisor went beta in August 2024 and since then he averages about 1,600 people engaging in his content every week.

Once dogAdvisor was up and running, Deni wanted to add in a new feature using AI. He created Max, a chatbot to help in both emergency and day-to-day activities. Deni’s dogAdvisor has become successful enough to secure him a finalist spot at the UK Business Awards for the Most Innovative Pet Product in 2024. He has also gained recognition from Investopedia and MSN News. He was even named CEO of 2025 of the pet care industry. Moving forward, Deni Darenberg hopes to continue expanding dogAdvisor by adding around 70 new articles and to continue enhancing Max, the chatbot. He also plans to bring his business together more with branded merchandise and a mascot. Deni’s story helps show us that we need to keep our eyes peeled for niches surrounding us in things that we love or are interested in. Deni did this as well as investing in opportunity early.

I personally have never owned a dog or cat, but I can 100% see the appeal and use of a tool like this! As someone who would immediately forget how much food to give, or how much exercise to give. The use of AI as a pseudo-doctor is really smart too! Good for when you need help quickly, but can’t get out to the veterinarian’s. What an awesome concept!
