Tilak Mehta-Paper n Parcels

Tilak Mehta became an entrepreneur at only 13 years old when he founded the company Paper n Parcels. Mehta had his “eureka” moment during a stay at his uncle’s house when he realized that he had left his books at his home and had no way of accessing them as he needed to study for his upcoming exams. After many failed attempts to try and buy the books and receive them on the same day with same day delivery an idea sparked inside Mehta’s brain-to create a company that would provide same day delivery services within his city. He founded Paper n Parcels, a company that does exactly that. His aim was to allow for same day delivery at efficient and low costs for his customers. His company skyrocketed as he was able to find a problem and pain in a niche market and capitalized off of it. He was the first to create a solution for this problem and he had very little competition in his market. Mehta became the number one youngest entrepreneur in India due to the great success that he achieved. He serves as an inspirational figure for the next generation as he showed that age does not matter when it comes to creating a successful business. All it takes is finding a problem in a specific niche and capitalizing off of it. By providing consumers with a cost-efficient way of receiving parcels, Mehta was able to create a very successful and lucrative company. Currently, Mehta’s net worth is estimated to be around $8 million. This number is remarkable for such a young kid. This truly shows how successful Mehta was and his business is only continuing to grow and reach new heights.

This is such an amazing story! It is so interesting that he came up with this idea and took action on it at the age of 13! I love when people take problems into their own hands and take action with it. Good job!
This is a great blog post. It demonstrates that entrepreneurial success is within capability at any age and that success is everywhere as long as you have the eye to see it. Tilak Metha is an exemplary example of young entrepreneur in today’s society.
This is an exemplary showcase of a young entrepreneur, as it portrays that success isn’t limited to age and that potential is everywhere; you just need the eye to see it. Tilak Metha is the essence of this, as he puts this in perspective.
What an excellent example of young entrepreneurship. What’s really interesting about this is that he targeted a pain point that others may simply overlook. I think we sometimes just ignore a problem because it’s so normal to us, but this company is a great example how profitable those niche problems can be.
I can understand why this company would be so successful. People forget important materials for work or school all of the time. His company also has great opportunity for growth. I’m sure that the same niche can be expanded upon to different locations because I’m sure his town is not the only one with this issue.
Really cool idea from his Tilak’s own personal experience! I have experienced like many this same type of problem, so it’s cool to see someone trying to create a solution.
