Ben Pastrenak

While living in Australia at the age of 15 high school student Ben Pastrenak was sitting in a study bored out of his mind. Deciding to do something about his boredom he began to teach himself how to code. After coding simple things he decided to make a game called impossible rush. His game took off getting million downloads, this prompted Ben to make the risky decision of dropping out of high school and deciding to go into coding and business full time. After dropping out he decided to try and raise funds for his apps and would eventually do so/ This led to him creating his second app called Flogg which combined the commencement and social media. The app was once again a hit gaining millions of users in a very short amount of time. While most people would have been satisfied with where they were at, Ben decided to make an even riskier choice then he had before. He decided to pack up and leave his family behind and move to the U.S. Despite all of his friends and family telling him that he shouldn’t go and should stay at home and code he said he had to go because he realized to be as successful as he wanted to he needed to be with the best people in the world in his field which were all in the U.S. After this Ben made another shocking move moving into the food industry and started to make plant based food like burgers and chicken nuggets and this actually had some minor success. Now Ben is estimated to have a net worth of 10 million dollars. What’s interesting about Ben’s overall journey is he wasn’t afraid to take huge risks whether that was dropping out moving to a foreign country or even moving into a new industry all together he was willing to take risks and constantly expand which has helped lead to his major succes.
