Taylor Price – Pricelesstay

Taylor Price was a 19-year-old student who realized that in her education, she was never fully taught how to manage her finances. She found that 8/10 people leave school without knowing how to manage their money. She switched her major to finance at the University of Albany and she realized that she was taught how to manage complex statement analysis and discounted cash flows. She did not learn how to file taxes, manage her paycheck, or even what a credit score was. She decided then to start Priceless Tay in 2019 to teach people these fundamentals of finance. Priceless Tay is a website with financial coaching, podcasts, and classes. By 2022 she was recognized by Fortune for being a young woman changing the way that people can view their finances. Her goal was to make learning about finance simple and obtainable.
She used her social media presence to launch her company and ideas. The Gen Z generation has started to realize that they do not have much knowledge of money management, and by being a Gen Z on social media, she was able to reach her target audience. In 2023 GoBankingRates named her as one of the top 100 money experts. Now in 2025 she has been recognized by multiple news and finance platforms and is standing out as a Gen Z woman in the finance sphere. She found a problem in her life and found out it was a generational issue, and she had the boldness to put herself out there to help others in her community to learn fundamental skills for their future.

Nicely written. I like the article.
This is a really interesting story. I like how she found a problem in her life and decided she wanted to help others who are struggling with the same problem. Great to see that it was successful for her!
I love this idea. I definitely agree that school does not teach enough about how to manage finances!
Really cool idea! I don’t know anyone my age including myself that knows much about finance. Good to see someone helping to educate the next generation.
This is really interesting. i did not know that there was anyone else in our generation that is doing financial content other than caleb hammer with finanical audit. Really cool it is starting to become normal to show how to be financially responsible.
School truly doesn’t teach us enough about managing our finances! Glad there’s someone around our age looking to change that for the better.
I’m happy to see that there are people out there who are defying the odds and are willing to put aside age and teach us how to better manage our finances!
