Fonzi Coleman

Fonzi Coleman is the young entrepreneur who founded Bubbles and Blaze at the age of just 14! Bubbles and Blaze is an eco-friendly candle company that created a healthier, less pungent, and cheaper candle. Fonzi Coleman’s candles are handcrafted made of 100% coconut soy wax and are poured into reusable handcrafted concrete for design and sustainability.
Fonzi Coleman’s inspiration for Bubble and Blaze came from his mother and started as a homeschool project. Fonzi recognized his mother’s need for a better candle that is healthier and more affordable. So, when he had the opportunity to propose his idea he did, and it ended up paying off. Fonzi’s homeschool project turned into a nationwide business making over $3,000 in sales. With that Fonzi has also been recognized in many news articles and won an entrepreneurship scholarship.
I really like Fonzi Coleman’s story because his idea came from a problem, he noticed his mother was having. I also love how Fonzi promotes young entrepreneurs. Fonzi said, “Don’t wait to be older just start with what you have and keep going.” Fonzi is the perfect example of this. He had the opportunity to pitch his idea for a school project, and he continued to run with it after.

this is a great story showing how other people’s point of viewpoints can help in a n impactful way because of using their creative mindset.
Amazing to see how even a 14 year old can create a business like this. Doesn’t take a business degree to make an impact
I always love the stories that show how young people are able to make a difference, and help out when they and/or their family is struggling. Lots of the older generation don’t put as much faith as they should into the younger generation, and it just goes to show how impactful young people can be when they put their mind to it and are doing so for a good cause.
I love the opportunities that homeschooling provides! It’s so awesome so see his business succeed!
This is such a nice idea! I know a handful of people who are really particular about their candles and what they’re putting into the air of their homes. Really neat to see that there are kids this young out there trying to make a difference in that way.
