Andrew Glantz- GiftAMeal

Andrew Glantz started GiftAMeal in 2015 while in school at Washington University In St. Louis. The business partners with restaurants, and you snap a picture of your meal and one of the participating restaurants, and a mean will be donated to someone in need.  As a kid Andrew always had an entrepreneur focused mind constantly trying to sell things. While working as an intern at a socially oriented venture capital firm the idea for GiftAMeal was formed. The app helps all party’s involved. They’ve found out that when using GiftAMeal customers eat in restaurants 39% more often and spend 20% more per visit. Andrew plans to expand the app to all 50 states in the coming future. By using technology he is helping small business restaurants, as well as needy people all over.
