Case D. Baker – CaseOh
CaseOh’s Massive Growth In Entrepreneurship
Case Dylan Baker, most commonly known as CaseOh by his audience, is an entertainer and entrepreneur. Amassing an audience of over 2 million followers in under 90 days and soon over 8 million in less than 6 months, CaseOh went on to win Gamer of the Year and Best Variety Streamer at The Streamer Awards 2025, as well as Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2024.
CaseOh began his career from zero, working a maintenance job with his dad. His long-held dream was to become a streamer, but he never went for it for years. At one point, he bought cheap streaming equipment but kept it in his closet for about 6 to 7 years. He had nearly given up on the idea. His mom one day suggested he just go for it, and she’d support him, telling him he was funny and was sure to do well. So he went ahead and did it. CaseOh began streaming in 2022 with fewer than a hundred followers on Twitch.
CaseOh’s beginning had many hiccups along the way. He used an internet hotspot to start, so streams lagged tremendously whenever a cloud flew overhead, and storms cut them short. His first game was NBA 2K in September of 2022, which brought in small crowds. But one day, he streamed Hogwarts Legacy the second it came out in 2023, and attracted thousands of people wanting a first look at the game. They first joined his TikTok live stream, and after he told them to “come over to Twitch,” many did. For the first time, he had thousands of people watching his streams and showing interest. From that point, CaseOh chose to keep streaming. His mom helped with making clips, he streamed the games and entertained the viewers, and with one stream after another, he kept rising in followers.
His key levers of exponential growth were how much he ate from a day-to-day basis and his ability to make jokes and humorous bits on the fly. His most viral clips are of him reacting to fat jokes of himself, such as some viewers saying he looks like a “1X1 Lego piece”, or another thing or character. Often he looks up the character names he is told compared to, and to the absurdity of it makes CaseOh laugh or react in exaggeration, saying “YOU’RE BANNED!” and sometimes over the top “In the middle of the night I’m going to go to your house in the middle of the night, and take a big, FAT dookie on your bed…(and so on).” Or another quote to that extent. All in good fun, he played with the lighthearted experience.
A combination of understanding his audience, making jokes with high dopamine payoff, and using language that connects allows him to entertain and be authentic. CaseOh only streams for 4 hours every day, and never streams on days he needs to rest or be with his family. He is a masterclass in authenticity while maximizing entertainment value, creating a brand “vibe” that is hard to find anywhere else. His predictability with how he’ll act, his consistency in personality, and warmth in his conduct make him very easy to watch. Most streams, he plays indie horror games. Many people put CaseOh’s long videos or streams just in the background. He monetizes his viewership with ads and sponsorships like GamerSupps with his own flavor and merch.
CaseOh’s resilience, ability to adapt according to feedback, and skill to delegate tasks he’s not strong in, like editing and clipping, make him an exemplary content creator. Familiarity builds trust, and these repeatable, consistent factors make him a strong entrepreneur.
