Cassey Ho (Blogilates)

Cassey Ho is a 39-year-old Vietnamese American entrepreneur who began by trying to fix a small inconvenience and has since grown into her life’s passion. Cassey started off studying Biology but felt that this wasn’t her calling in life. During her time in college she discovered her passion, Pilates. She worked at a Pilates studio alongside her studies and loved every second of it. After graduating she wanted to keep in contact with her students no matter where she went after college, so she started to post workouts on YouTube starting her channel Blogilates. From here, things grew fast. She started identifying problems within the realm of Pilates and women’s workout wear in general. She stated out by making a new Pilates bag to hold all the essentials needed for a Pilates class, this was completely new to the market. From there she has expanded into making her own athletic wear brand Popflex. Popflex focuses on inclusivity and finding new patterns to flatter every body type. She has sizes ranging from XXS to 3X, focusing on inclusivity. She also has custom dimensions so that every body can fit and feel great with no baggy or tight parts. She famously created the Pirouette Skirt, the star of her company Popflex which can be seen on many celebrities like Taylor Swift. What is so interesting about her is that she interacts with her audience, constantly seeking feedback from her many followers. Her goal is to make women all over feel confident in their bodies, clothes should reflect confidence not create insecurities. Not only is she constantly putting out new products and clothes but she also still posts on her YouTube and blog. She has a multitude of nutrition and workout routines that are specific to certain goals, bodies and ages. She promotes healthy lifestyles mentally, physically, and emotionally. I think that her man entrepreneurship success has been building a bridge between healthy living and fashion. By bridging these two completely separate fields she has found a space to create infinite products that women want and need.

I think it’s awesome how she’s constantly working with her audience to develop new, innovative clothing designs! I believe she’s been so successful in this field due to her flexibility and willingness to accept constructive criticism. Also, using her platform of followers from multiple social media apps leads to organic consumption and less of a need for any paid advertising!
