Jack Bonneau created Jack’s Stands & Teen Hustl

Jack Bonneau at the age of ten pitched his idea called “Jack’s Stands” on Shark Tank for helping other young entrepreneurs open lemonade stands. At that time, he was driven to buy a $400 Lego Death Star set and after setting up his own lemonade stand he quickly acquired $900 profit. After a quite “eloquent” pitch asking for $50,000 he was able to get an offer for the $50,000 given in lumps of $10,000 with 2% interest and the condition to create a video podcast that encourages others in public speaking and entrepreneurship.
Today he has paid off not only his parents’ investment of around $6,000 but also the $50,000 dollar investment from Chris Sacca on Shark Tank. Since, then he has started a new delivery business called “Teen Hustl” that looks to find the opportunities lost when newspaper routs became a thing of the past. He is employing young people to deliver amazon packages from package lockers to customer’s homes or to take returns from homes back to a local amazon store. These ideas are quite ingenious and risky by trying to tap into the work force of teens who can be known to be more unreliable.
Through pitching his idea in Shark Tank, he not only showed himself to be an innovator but also a person of action. Through the twelve-week process of running his own lemonade stand he developed patience and persistence. He also showed vison by not just stopping but wanting to grow his business where few have gone before.
Jack Bonneau happens to come from Denver, Colorado and has encouraged me to not only continue to think creatively but to also pursue ideas. When I wanted to set up my own lemonade stand with a rock shop, I displayed an entrepreneur idea. The key principle I found is that taking action to reach out to find support for an idea is one of the most powerful things any entrepreneur can do.

This was a great person to write about as Jack’s story is very inspiring. Despite being young, Jack has been able to innovate and create a product that people will buy. I also agree that taking action is one of the most important things an entrepreneur can do. Great job on this post!
I loved hearing all about Jack’s background and what prompted all his ideas! It’s absolutely incredible that someone so young was able to accomplish that much and inspire people to think creatively. He was able to not only reach his goal, but to take it a step further with the Shark Tank- and expand it even more with Teen Hustl! It’s very mature of him to realize how much initiative, creative and critical thinking, and innovation it would take to realize his dreams- he sure is doing an excellent job!
