Alina Morse is a young entrepreneur who founded Zolli Candy at just nine years old. Zolli Candy is a sugar-free, vegan, and allergy-friendly candy. At the young age of nine, Alina had a fondness for lollipops, but her father wouldn’t let her eat them, because they would rot her teeth. She constantly wondered “Why can’t we make candy that’s actually good for your teeth?” So, that’s when she came up with Zollipops and Zolli Candy. They don’t just sell lollipops either, they also sell Zolli Drops which are just a normal hard candy, and Zaffi Taffy which is taffy. Alina always wanted to be a CEO since she was just three years old. Since then, she developed the entrepreneurial mindset and tried to make several different things, from something to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches easier to a robot that would go to work for her father so he could stay home during the day and hangout with her. Out of all these ideas Alina had, she came up with Zolli Candy. The company really took off a year and a half after when it was launched. On top of all Zolli Candy’s success, Alina also devotes part of their profit to educational programs that help teach kids oral hygiene. As the years go on Zolli Candy only continues to grow.

Alina’s story really inspired me because of how young she was when she came up with this idea. It also inspired me because she kept trying after all the failed ideas and attempts, she had. In my own thinking of entrepreneurship and innovation, I won’t give up on an idea just like Alina didn’t give up on Zolli Candy.
