Emma Yang – Timeless

Emma Yang is a Gen-Z entrepreneur and founded an app named Timeless. Timeless is an app that was created for individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s to keep connected with loved ones in a variety of ways. Timeless uses AI to recognize faces to remind the patient of the names of individuals as well as their relation to a person. At the current making of this post Timeless has since been taken off the app store with Emma’s transition into college, but it certainly made an impact during its time.

Something unique about Emma’s creation is that it was done in a non-profit manner. She created the app with the goal of creating a better and easier life for people who suffer with Alzheimer’s. Emma’s drive was to see these people live happier lives and have a better understanding of their surroundings. Emma’s idea was great because it accomplished exactly what it set out to do. It created an easier living environment and lifestyle for those with Alzheimer’s. Emma had a passion to help these people who suffer from the disease. She was not in it for the money or the fame she just had a genuine desire to help. She was also very motivated in her creation of Timeless. Emma innovated a by finding the problem of Alzheimer’s and creating a solution that makes their lives easier.

Emma inspired me to realize that there is sometimes a bigger cause than myself. She used her innovation skills to create something to help others. This helps me to somewhat transform my view on innovating and creating. I have learned that helping others can be very self-fulfilling and can be a great way to use your innovation skills. Emma truly is not only an inspiration to me, but also to young entrepreneurs all over the world.
