Frank Collins – Evangelizing Through Entrepreneurship

Frank Collins was a young entrepreneur who saw the problem of expensive gym clothes. The way he planned to solve this was by creating his own Gym / StreetWear clothing line. But he needed to stand out from all the others.

Collins was a strong, faithful Christian; he loved to share his faith at any chance he got. So Collins began his journey, “Project-M,” meaning project millions (referring to the millions of souls he would try to bring to Christ). Many Christians enjoy working out, and there are not many Christian clothing brands. But now, with Collins’ business idea, people could work out while also evangelizing and showing others that they are Christians. He started the entire business just from his room alone, and he had God motivating him the whole way through.

Collins had a mindset that could help any business owner become successful. He said in an interview, “I want to teach business owners how to focus on the value they can provide people instead of just their financial reward.” Collins understood that with a startup business like this, he would have to risk money, but he wasn’t starting the business just to make money. He was starting it to help others and to praise God through subtle evangelization. That is what granted him his success. Along with his clothes being affordable compared to other trendy brands.

Really like his idea and how he adapted. His quote :“I want to teach business owners how to focus on the value they can provide people instead of just their financial reward” was especially inspiring.

I often wonder how anyone could take such a financial risk to start a business, but to him, it is more than the money; it is about the message. Just as it is written in the Bible, he is investing his talents into a business in order that it may save so many lives rather than living in fear of losing the money he was blessed with. What an inspiring entrepreneur!

I really like how he wasn’t;t afraid to take multiple risks, not only did he put his money on the line but also his faith since some people may not respond well to that. I also think it was interesting how he combined two things most people woudln’t have thought of combining since they seem so separate.
