Moziah Bridges -Mo’s Bows

Moziah Bridges is a small 24 year old entrepreneur based in Memphis,Tennessee who created the business Mo’s Bows. Moziah’s company sells bow ties, as the name implies, and Mo has been very successful. His company is now estimated to be worth 2-5 million dollars in 2025. Mo started his business in 2011 at the age of only nine years old. Mo started his company because he said he wanted to find an accessory to make himself look sharp. While he obviously didn’t invent the bow tie but where his company is different in the design. According to Bridges his designs are more creative and the patterns on the bow ties that are more colorful and as he describes them a lot more whimsical. He started his company with help from his grandma and for a while the company was under his mothers name. Moziah was featured in multiple major outlets and shows. He was featured in Oprah’s magazine as well as an appearance on Shark Tank. Although his company didn’t receive a bid or deal from any investors it eventually led to him finding mentorship from famous investor and entrepreneur Draymond John. All of this eventually led to Moziaha’s company skyrocketing. By the time he was 17, he had already sold 200,000 bow ties. What’s super inspiring about his story is Moziah gave up a normal childhood and life to fully pursue this business. Although the business started out slow it kept growing steadily to the point where now it’s a multi-million dollar company. He has now also landed huge partnerships with the NBA as well as other companies like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. What is also fairly unique about his story is he takes a lot of the money he makes in sales and creates the Go me Summer camp scholarships which helps send kids to summer camps who might not be able to afford them themselves. Overall Bridges story is very unique and special and his qualities of perseverance and not letting age affect him helped create a million dollar business. His ability to give back to the community is also very inspiring.

What a wonderful story! The fact that he provides scholarships to kids in order that they may attend summer camp speaks a lot to how much he values childhood even though he never had the typical childhood experience.
