Me and the Bees Lemonade

It all started when Mikaila was four years old and was stung by a bee. Ever since that moment bees have been a huge part of her life. Inspired by her grandmother’s original recipe, Mikaila decided to implement her own rendition of the recipe by removing flaxseed and instead using honey. In 2010, Mikaila demonstrated her unique recipe by orchestrating a honey-lemonade stand at the Austin Lemonade Day and Acton Children’s Business Fair in Austin, Texas. Ever since that moment, Mikaila’s lemonade has been on an exponential growth curve, helped along by several key partnerships and endorsements which helped to spread the word about the delicious drink. One of the events that helped to generate more excitement for the fast-growing brand was their partnership with Whole Foods Market in 2014. This partnership alerted other grocery store chains such as Target and World Market, which eventually lead to their partnership also. Another thing that Mikaila did to spread the word about her business was being part of the Shark Tank T.V. and succeeded by securing a deal with Shark, Daymond Johnson. Since then, although rebranding to “Me and the Bee’s”, Mikaila’s Business has gained a massive following which helped her to meet people such as Barack Obama. In summary this business has achieved over 15 years of service and continues to provide excellent beverages to their customers.
