Agape Energy
Tanner Maddocks started a energy drink company in the fall of 2025. At the time he was 21 years old. He noticed a problem that energy drink companies like to use secular and even demonic images on their cans. Tanner saw this problem, and used it as an opportunity to spread the gospel on the cans of his company, Agape Energy. On each can, there is a bible verse, biblical graphics, and a QR code for more biblical reading.
This business model is very intriguing because it takes a market that is heavily populated, yet Tanner is able to bring something very new and very different to the game. While the designs of the cans can be could, the purpose isn’t to look cool, its to spread the message of the Gospel.
Maddock’s is determined to spread the gospel, and I believe this is one of the best ways one can do that. Energy drinks are so popular now, and he saw that. Maddocks is determined to keep his drinks clean. He is very clear about what ingredients go into the drinks, and wants them to be as healthy as possible.
Some key takeaways I learned from Maddocks is to not be scared of jumping into an already crowded market. If you see a problem that you thinks others would like to have fixed, just send it. Another takeaway is that ministry can happen anywhere. It is so common in our generation for people to stand up and start spreading the gospel. I believe Maddocks will reach more people through his drink because they seem to be good drinks, and they have so much meaning being them.

I think it’s very interesting how tanner saw a problem in an already crowded market and decided to go for it. I also like how he adds bible verses to his cans; I think it’s a very bold business and marketing approach that will pay off for him. what I wonder for in the future is if this marketing strategy will help his brand stand out from other energy drinks?
I think that the idea to incorporate biblical imagery and text on energy drinks is an interesting and probably smart move, one that I definitely support. Even though energy drinks are exceedingly popular nowadays, many Christians are probably repelled by the imagery used on some of the packaging. This provides a great way not only to provide an energy drink option for Christians but also is a great way to reach a entire demographic.
