Shop ARL – Amanda Rach Lee

Amanda Rach Lee, the founder of Shop ARL, started her company in 2019 when she was just 21. Amanda launched her brand with the doodle planner, expanding a way to combine creativity, mindfulness, and productivity.
Amanda was a normal girl with big dreams. She was an avid YouTube watcher and decided to give YouTubing a shot. Amanda posted her first video in January of 2013, and the rest was history. She had a love for journalling, planners, and art. Amanda posted countless YouTube tutorials showing her audience the process of calligraphy and how to draw. However, it was not until 2017 that she discovered her niche, bullet journalling.
One of the ways Amanda satisfied a need in the market was taking a step to custom design bullet journals and so started her own business and online shop. Her bullet journals, beautiful in design and colors, have been wildly successful. She also sells a range of artsy items, ranging from washi tapes to tote bags to earrings.
Amanda Rach Lee has reached over 4 million followers across all of her online social media presence. Building trust with her audience has been a key factor in the success of her business. Her audience watched her trial and use her planners in every video, which provides them assurance of the quality of her planners.
Shop ARL is a beautifully designed and easy to use website. With vibrant and beautiful product images, choosing the perfect doodle planner for you is made simple. Amanda showcases a new spread that you can design on your planner based on the month. This interactive process further strengthens the relationship between maker and customer.
Amanda shows us all a good example of how longevity and persistence can lead to success. Amanda‘s approach to content creation embodies this principle of persistence as she has consistently delivered value to her audience through her tutorials, notebook spreads, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into her everyday creative process.

I also like how she built trust with her audience before creating her products, because they already knew and liked her work.
