Kamber Labs
Quinn Aiello owns Kamber Labs. He founded Kamber labs in 2021 at 19 years old. He was inspired to start a snowboard company to make quality handmade equipment because he didn’t like the mass-produced snowboards on the market. He wanted something different. Quinn is a craftsman and has literally been working with wood and metal since childhood. The snowboarding and ski industry now requires season long passes, and have made a single day pass incredibly expensive. Quinn has developed a Powder Surfer for use in the great outdoors, like your backyard and even out of bounds skiing where you don’t need a ski pass to make winter sports affordable to people who can’t afford a ski pass. The snow and powder boards made by Quinn are interesting because they are made in the old-fashioned way, one by one, to ensure quality. Even Kamber Labs apparel is silk screened by hand to ensure quality. The Entrepreneurial traits Quinn shows are creativity with his designs, taking risks with handmade, old fashion styling and venturing into the Power Surfer. He also expanded Kamber Labs with the hire of another craftsman, Chris Hagenau, a friend from college and an experienced snowboard craftsman. They are innovating by making more affordable and high-quality snowboard equipment. They have inspired me because handmade items are hard to come by in the winter sports industry and seeing someone successfully make these items makes me feel I can make handmade items. Principles I have learned from Kamber Labs is the art of craftsmanship for quality products and using creativity to remove the cost barrier so others can join in sports like snowboarding and skiing.

I like how he went with something he is passionate about and thought about a problem in that industry like the cost and quality. I like how he did something about it.
I really admire the way Quinn was able to see how skiing affordably was not available for everyone, and he too initiative to solve that problem. Problem solving is such an important trait as an entrepreneur.
