Tanner Serpa- Passion to Profession

Tanner Serpa, founder of the popular YouTube channel Serpa Design has found an interesting way to turn his passion into is profession. From a young age Tanner had a love for creating things, nature, and animals, little did he know that his deep passion for these things would lead him down a path of success. While Tanner never developed an actual product or service for profit, he demonstrates entrepreneurial aspects throughout his journey.

After attending college for a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Tanner began developing unique terrariums and aquariums which he shared with the internet. His aquascapes and intricate terrariums inspired people to get outside and try building something unique inside their homes. His channel began to grow; it grew so large that Tanner would have to make one of the most difficult decisions of his life. Quit his full-time job and pursue his dream or try to balance the stressful life of doing both. In true entrepreneurial fashion Tanner decided to take a risk of passion of money. And people saw this. People saw his passion and love of the craft translated into his work and they loved it. Now, Tanner has a YouTube channel with over 2 million subscribers and s thriving entertainment and terrarium building business. Tanner is a true testament that when you do what you love at the right time and place, people are drawn to that passion and want to get some for themselves.
