Cory Nieves

What is unique about Cory Nieves is that he started a cookie business at 6 to make NON-artificial packaged cookies that are still homemade. He initially started this business inspired from selling hot chocolate on the street in order to buy his mom a car, so basically it was his mom that drove him. Cory’s profession puts it in the marketing pictures and his young age attracted and interested customers. The main entrepreneurial traits that he demonstrated and that I saw was that he was a big experimenter with lemonade, hot chocolate and especially cookies. He was innovating by making different flavors of cookies and then saw which one the consumer liked best. They inspire me because instead of having the goal of making a lot of revenue, he wanted to help someone out – his mom. I have learned that the principle of experimenting plays a big role in growing better products, you can’t just plan to go with one idea and know it will work, you have to experiment.
